First, microdermabrasion is used to exfoliate and prep the skin. Microdermabrasion is a fairly simple, easy, painless, non-invasive, skin rejuvenation procedure. A light cosmetic procedure that uses a mechanical medium for exfoliation to gently remove the outermost layer of dead skin cells from the epidermis, Microdermabrasion exfoliates dead skin cells away revealing the under lying skin and is a wonderful preparation for the peel to easily penetrate.

Then the peel solution is applied. The reverse peel solution is custom blended for each person. This concentration of active enzymes and peel solution is brushed over the face in layers, which makes the treated area lift off underlying dead cells that eventually peel off. The new skin underneath is usually smoother and less wrinkled than the old.

This peel does require some downtime. The patient should be prepared to peel for up to seven days, but the skin peel benefits are well worth the wait. We do however advise our clients to avoid the sun and to wear a hat and sunscreen to protect their skin during the peeling process. Peeling usually involves redness followed by sloughing of skin cells. Some clients may require additional treatments depending on the level of sun damage.
